| In this course you will learn how techniques of Artificial Intelligence can be applied to study the emergence of communication systems. This course will provide you with some background notions in linguistics and will introduce you to some major breakthrough experiments that have been conducted in this field: starting from single-word utterance upto languages which have human languagelike grammatical properties. In this course you will have to get familiar with the latest developed tools for exploring this interesting domain and you will have to conduct experiments on your own. |
| The normal time slot would be on friday from 10h till 12h in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (10G725), but we will probably not meet every week. |
| Students will be evaluated on the interactions during the course and will also have to work out a few assignments or will have to work on a small project. |
