There will be ample time for system demonstrations.
Participants and speakers planning to give demonstrations should contact the
organisers asap for the equipment they need (e.g., computers, VCR).
Workshop Venue
MAAMAW '96 will be held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The workshop will take place in the congress center GOLDEN TULIP (Geldrop),
situated about 5 kilometers from the Centre of the City.
Participants will also stay at the GOLDEN TULIP congress
center, which
contains a first-class hotel. All meals will either be at the
congress center or at selected locations.
A wide range of recreational facilities are available.
Travel connections
Eindhoven is situated in the south of the Netherlands, close to
Amsterdam (130 km), Antwerp (95 km) and Cologne (150 km).
Eindhoven can be reached conveniently
- by Air flights via Amsterdam from all major cities in Europe
as well as from Australia, Asia and the United States. There is a bus
connection to the centre of Eindhoven from Eindhoven Airport.
- by Air flights from London, Paris, Zurich, and Hamburg
- by train and car from anywhere
Accomodation
Accommodation for the conference has been arranged at the GOLDEN TULIP Congress Center.
The GOLDEN TULIP has 138 tastefully furnished rooms. All rooms
have a private bathroom, colour TV, alarm clock radio, minibar,
telephone and hairdryer.
The cost for the accomodation is included in the conference fee.
A wide range of recreational facilities are available: a swimming
pool, sauna, whirlpool, steambath, solarium, two all weather tennis
courts,
a keep-fit track, three squashcourts, fitness and aerobics centre.
These recreational facilities are for free.
