GEOMED-F was a feasibility project funded by the Commission of the European Communities, Directorate Generale XIII, as Information Engineering Project Nr. 174. The duration of the project was six months and ended in July 1995. A primary goal was to define a pilot application to be developed in a follow-up Framework IV project together with additional partners and sponsors from industry and public administration.
